There are approximately only 22 female athletic trainers working across the NFL.

32 Teams employ a total of 150 Athletic Trainers today. However, roughly 22 of them are women. Although the underrepresentation is increasing, it still isn’t enough. Women athletic trainers have flourished at nearly every level despite being in a field dominated by males.
