On March 2, 2026, during a La Liga match against Getafe, Rodrygo Goes suffered a devastating ACL tear just weeks before the start of the FIFA World Cup. Powerade’s newly launched campaign, Power Your Fate, suddenly took a completely different meaning for Rodrygo. With such a unexpected turn of events, we believed his journey to recovery should have one powerful message:

To tell his story, we wrote two short scripts to show the world that he was powering through this new chapter. Although he would ultimately be out of the World Cup, his focus and intensity had never been stronger with laser focus. Using a series of personal and intimate clips, we tied everything back to the Power Your Fate campaign and the brand manifesto. Rodrygo posted to his personal Instagram and Tik Tok as Powerade collab.
